Behind the Business

Meet the family behind Fieck Fitness

Our Home Base

We are a family of five raising three young kids in the middle of a very full and very loud season of life.

If you have ever had several little kids in the house at the same time, you probably already know what our evenings look like: books before bed, endless energy, sibling chaos, snack requests, cuddles, and trying to soak in as many moments as we can before the next phase comes too fast.

It is beautiful, exhausting, hilarious, and honestly one of the greatest gifts of our lives.

What Drives Us

Faith in Jesus is the foundation of everything we do.

It shapes the way we parent, the way we serve people, and the kind of life we are trying to build together. Outside of Fieck Fitness, I also serve as a college minister at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where I help lead Bible studies, mentor students, and create spaces where people can find genuine community and connection.

That same heart carries directly into my coaching. I care deeply about helping people grow in confidence, discipline, and strength, not just inside the gym, but in life as a whole.

Fox Valley Roots

We are proud to call the Fox Valley home.

I grew up in Kaukauna, and over the years our family and community have spread throughout Appleton, Oshkosh, and the surrounding area. This community has shaped who we are and the kind of business we want to build.

Some of our favorite local spots include:

  • Heckrodt Wetland Preserve

  • Menominee Park

  • High Cliff State Park

  • Downtown Oshkosh YMCA

  • Summer library events

  • Luv2Play in Appleton

  • Spencer Lake in Waupaca

  • Green Lake Conference Center

And if Emma and I manage to sneak away for a date night, there is a good chance we are ending up at DarBar Indian Restaurant.

Life outside the gym

Outside of training, we are pretty simple people.

We love board games, good food, long conversations, and spending time outdoors with the kids. Some of our favorite moments are the smallest ones: watching the kids play at a park, sitting around a fire, exploring local trails, or just slowing down enough to be present together.

That perspective shapes the way I coach too. Fitness should support your life, not consume it.

More than fitness

At the end of the day, Fieck Fitness is not really about chasing perfection.

It is about becoming stronger so you can better show up for the people and responsibilities that matter most to you.

That is the kind of life we are trying to build too.
